6:30 – 11 PM

Sugar & Spice is Richmond Animal League’s annual benefit and auction, and one of our most magical nights of the year. Together, we’ll celebrate compassion, community, and the powerful impact made possible when people come together to give animals a second chance.

Held at The Science Museum of Virginia, Sugar & Spice brings guests together for live music, delicious food, an open bar, and exciting silent and live auctions, all in support of lifesaving care for pets in our community.

The generosity shared on this night helps RAL provide hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. None of this would be possible without kind and caring people like you. Thank you for being part of the story!

Small Art with Big Heart

Sugar & Spice is home to the ever-popular Small Art with Big Heart auction. Every year, participants have a chance to take home one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork. Each piece is made with love by members of our very own RVA community, including student art from local schools.

Many attendees have begun collecting these small artworks, typically 6x6 inches, adding a new piece to their collection every year at Sugar & Spice.

Want to contribute a piece of art? We are accepting art for the auction through March 13, 2026. Fill out this Interest Form to get involved!
