The Richmond Animal League, Inc. is Richmond’s oldest non-profit, no-kill humane society. RAL was founded in 1979 by a group of local good Samaritans concerned about the hundreds of stray animals in the area. Our volunteer foster parents extend our reach by providing temporary homes for young animals and animals in need when our facility is full. Fostering is a tremendously rewarding experience and most of our foster parents foster animals over and over again. more
