Shammy is doing so well! After only a few days she graduated from hiding under the bed to sleeping, purring, snuggling on top of the bed.
She now has a completely peaceful look in her eyes and has even lost a little weight from all the running and playing she does. Her favorite toy is a hair rubberband which she tosses up in the air and then chases across the room. Shammy loves having her own food and water bowls and of course her very own litter pan! All she wants is to be petted. When she cannot find one of us, she meows and waits until we come to her and then purrs and purrs while we sit and love on her. She will stay there as long as we will. She is such a joy to our family! RAL gives these cats such a nice place to stay, but there really is nothing like a home to them.
