RAL's new web site

RAL is pleased to announce the grand opening of our new web site, which will help us fulfill our mission to save animals in exciting new ways. In addition to the updated design, this new web site will allow us to publish information online much more quickly and effectively with a sophisticated content management system running behind the scenes.

Among the highlights is a custom designed animal database which offers search, organization and display capabilities far beyond what we could do previously. We will continue to post our pets on Petfinder of course, but you should now look to this site as the most complete and up-to-date source of information on our animals.

This is only the beginning. This is a dynamic system which will allow us to add new features and content over time. We have many exciting new ideas planned for the months to come.

This site has been designed, constructed and donated by RAL volunteer Shane Hussel, owner of ISOL Web Services, a local web development firm. Shane will also be providing ongoing hosting and email services, continued development of the site, and has been responsible for most of our animal photography for the past several months.

Credit is also due to the original RAL volunteer who designed the green arch concept which is used for some of our other published materials. We hope you enjoy the new site, and we welcome your comments, questions or suggestions.
