Paws For Pets – Volunteers Needed

RAL is taking part in the CBS 6 Paws For Pets on air promotion – a weekly taping of local adoptable cats and dogs from various animal rescue groups. Tapings are on Thursday mornings at 10:00am at their studio on Broad Street by the Science Museum. We are looking for volunteers to take either a cat or dog on Thursdays to the station. YOU WILL NOT BE ON CAMERA.

This person would need to be at RAL by 9:30am to pick up the animal and a brief bio for you to take with you. You would then drive the animal to the station, take them inside and hand them over to the newscaster when you are called. Afterwards, bring the animal back.

Tapings air that week in the mornings. That’s it! It is about a 1.5 hour time commitment. I am looking for multiple volunteers so each person might go once a month. If you are willing to go more often, please contact Susan.
