H.O.P.E.
Help Our Pets Everyday
The H.O.P.E. program gives you an opportunity to sponsor a RAL dog or cat. Your H.O.P.E. sponsorship helps defray the cost of food, housing, and ongoing routine medical care. Upon making your gift, you will receive a special thank you from our 2007 H.O.P.E. dog or cat representative. H.O.P.E. sponsorships make great gifts. Please consider joining our lifesaving effort by becoming a H.O.P.E. sponsor today.
This program helps the longtime animals at our shelter. Since we are a no-kill facility some animals will stay here a much longer time than others. Every one of our pets has housing and medical expenses and needs a sponsor. You choose a cat or dog and commit to helping with his or her care by making a financial pledge.

For $300 annually or $30/month, you can make a difference by sponsoring a RAL dog like Buster. Buster, a young lab/Shepherd mix, was rescued by our Kennel Manager in the fall of 2005. Before he was rescued, Buster was chained to a tree and lived in a dog house in his family's back yard. Because he was not the favorite dog in his household, Buster did not receive much medical care. By the time he came to RAL, he had lost large patches of hair to mange. He did not like to be touched because it hurt. After months of treatment, Buster is a happier boy. He has a beautiful, shiny coat and loves to be petted. He has attended training classes and knows commands such as "sit" and "down." Because of generous people like you, Buster has a chance to live happily ever after.
For $250 annually or $25/month, you can sponsor a RAL cat like Bud, Chester and Maggie. This special trio is as inseparable as Peter, Paul and Mary. Bud, a big orange and white male, is the leader of the pack. With his quiet confidence, he leads the way for the shyer Chester and Maggie. Chester and Maggie express their gratitude by grooming Bud's face and ears. At night, they sleep together with paws entertwined. Because of you, these once homeless cats are living the good life while they wait for forever homes.
