Is your dog or cat afraid of thunderstorms?

If so these tips may help!

1. Do not coddle a frightened dog, to him you are praising his fears.

2. Make it fun! Build his confidence, withhold his food, favorite chew, or toy until the storm hits. Be Silly!! Keep him on a leash (walk him with the best rain gear on)

3. Put a T-shirt on him, (legs through the arms tie a knot on back) this makes him feel protected and secure.

4. Do not let him run and hide.
