Going Home Soon
She’s extremely affectionate w/ people (including young children) and absolutely adores our adult dog (a neutered male), but she expects to be the center of attention and she’s a bit of a bully toward the smaller puppy. Unless the home she goes to has an older dog or experienced owners who’ll keep her in her place as she develops her permanent temperament (which I suspect will tend toward dominant), she might do best as an only dog. She will chase cats but will back off once they stand up to her. She’s quiet (not a barker), sensitive/attentive to how her people are feeling, and very intelligent. She’ll likely be quick & easy to train. She will run and play all you want, but when you stop, she stops – which is a wonderful quality. She really makes you feel like all she wants in the world is to be with you. (Honestly, we’d keep her ourselves – and have talked about doing so – but it would make it too difficult to foster other puppies if we had a second dog of our own.)
