He's an owner surrender to an animal shelter. His owner was moving and well, couldn't take her 10 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. The shelter couldn't bear to put down this nice dog and had been trying to find foster care for him for over a month.
He's good with other dogs, fully vetted. He is trainable with cats. I do believe he would chase a cat if it ran but does not seem to seek them out in his foster home. He is a nice steady tolerant dog with a wonderful disposition. Brindle and white with a professional crop to his ears. He deserves a home, not to be abandoned in his golden years. He is still playful with other dogs. He is a really nice dog just needs some leash manners.

We have listed him as special needs because he is an older dog. He is a healthy dog but our seniors need extra consideration. He's a little chunky and has been put on a diet. He's missing a few teeth and doesn't seem all that interested in bones but he loves treats - especially begging strips....or really just anything. He's VERY food motivated. He knows sit and he's not much of a jumper unless he's trying to reach a treat. Rides great in the car, knows some basic commands like sit and down. He has been neutered, UTD on all vaccinations and tested heartworm negative. He has a sweet face and is a really good boy.
