Mac is a little over a year and four months old, and he weighs less than 20 pounds. He is half shih tzu and half jack russel terrier. Mac is not neutered, but we are thinking of neutering him. He is also up to date on his vaccinations. Mac is affectionate and loves to lick people's faces. Mac is also very hyper, and he loves to run around. He is especially hyper after he takes a bath because he tries to dry his fur by running around. During the bath, Mac is usually calm and well behaved. Mac needs to be bathed at least once a week, and he may need an occasional flea bath.

He knows one trick (lie down), but he only does this when you show him a treat. He loves milk-bone treats, but he loves pieces of chicken even more. Mac eats Hill's Science Diet Natural dog food (small bites), and he is not picky about the flavor.

Mac is great around children, and he loves playing with them. However, he is sometimes not so great around other dogs. Mac is a small dog, and he tries to intimidate dogs that are bigger than him. He does not bite other dogs, but he tends to play roughly with them. Mac seems to be curious about cats (he has only been around one cat). He did not bite or chase the cat, so he may behave around other cats.

Mac is housetrained, but he may accidentally pee if he is nervous. He gets nervous when we take him to a pet store because he gets his vaccinations from Luv My Pet at Petco. He does not like getting vaccinations. Also, to be honest, Mac may chew up his bedding and stuffed toys.
